French vintage, handmade pewter pot pourri dish with cut out rose design and removable lid.

This is a lovely little pewter dish with a pretty rose design on the lid. It is well done and the detail impressive. On the base are clear stamps for the maker and confirming it is made from pewter. It says Rose, Etain (French for pewter) and Design International. The stamp confirms this is a handmade piece.

The dish was made as a pot pourri dish, you fill it and due to the cut out lid, the scent could slowly emerge.

The dish is in good vintage condition with some signs of age and wear as you would expect with pewter. The pewter has a lovely patina of age.

A delightful little dish that could be filled with pot pourri or just used as a pretty decorative item.
